Monochromatic Romance

Moody wedding photography Dorset & Wiltshire

Utterly thrilled to share this beautiful editorial with you, submitted by the incredible team at Larmer Tree Gardens. It has literally taken our breath away.

We. Cannot. Stop. Staring.

The atmospheric style of Agrestal Visuals perfectly pairs with the monochrome theme, and the floral and table styling is sumptuous and sophisticated. Kudos, team, kudos!

If you have an editorial or styled shoot that you would like to feature on our blog, head to our Submissions page.

Larmer Tree Gardens is an exquisite wedding venue. Tucked away from modern life, it's perfect for any couple looking for a sophisticated country wedding.

Located on the Dorset/Wiltshire border, deep in the heart of the Cranborne Chase, sits 11 acres of gardens with multiple options for your perfect wedding day.

Ornately painted Singing Theatre? Yep. Beautiful Roman Temple? Oh yes.

Plus, of course, the featured Jubilee Hall and Pavilion where this stunning shoot took place.

Lou Paper created a perfectly balanced stationery suite for this shoot.

Using a calligraphy font to add drama to the accented text and a minimalist all-caps font for the body of the text. A perfect duo!
We particularly enjoyed the use of the black envelope and the main wedding invitation being on black cardstock with white print to contrast.

All perfectly finished with a velum jacket and wax seals (we're wax seal obsessed, so a massive win in our book).

Well, didn't Willow & Wisps smash this out of the park?

Rhiannon has smashed the brief, producing just the most beautiful monochrome asymmetric bridal bouquet.

Not to mention the cutest buttonholes, elegant floral tower, dreamy flower cloud, and ALL the table arrangements. We can only assume Rhiannon arrived before sunrise for this one!

The use of varied textures within the wedding flowers is a triumph.
The smooth elegance of the orchids and anthuriums, teamed with the softness of the bleached foliage and the more sporadic bursts of height within the arrangements, delivers one heck of an impact.

The dresses were supplied by Forever Bridal, Sturminster Newton.

There's a wedding dress for every taste in this gallery. A full lace gown with delicate sleeves. A sexy trumpet skirt with detailed straps, plus a bit of sparkle through the beadwork and skirt for good measure.

And, our personal favourite, the elegant and minimalist wedding dress. Featuring a detachable train for all the glamour and none of the fuss.

Wow. This is a vibe.

Beautifully curated styling by Luna And The Lane, with the addition of their beautifully bohemian furniture, maximises the eclectic modern feel of this shoot.

This theme is one that can quickly become overpowering, but the balance struck between luxury and whimsy is just perfection.

We adore the black candles and the romantic ambience they lend to the images.

Perfectly complemented by the styling choices of Luna And The Lane, are the tableware and linens provided by Place Settings Event Hire.
Adding colour to your wedding tables with your cutlery, plates, or even textured glassware is a surefire way to elevate your wedding tablescape.

Milly Maunder Designs provided the jewellery.

We are obsessed with the double-banded engagement ring. The split shoulders feature stone gives us all the vintage vibes whilst the solid metal adornments give it a fresh new twist.
