Are you pulling your hair out, trying to work out how to wear your hair on the big day? We've got some great ideas for you, courtesy of Tracy at Brideshair - check out more of her work on her website - https://brideshair.co.uk/ A loose updo is always a winner in my book, super flattering with face framing wisps and you haven't got to worry that all those on-the-day hugs are going to ruin something super sleek. This look is always awesome with a hair vine (as pictured) as your stylist will be able to weave it into your hairstyle to complement your bridal look.
Great with: Strapless, off the shoulder, scoop and v-necked dresses
Half-Up do's are perfect if you want to show off your luscious locks but prefer to keep your hair off of your face - also great if you're rocking some extensions. To make things more interesting, Tracy has added braids to sections of the hair which are then great for housing delicate flowers or veil combs.
Great with: All dresses but sensational when you're showing a little more skin as it adds balance to your look.
If you're going for a super polished look, a sleek updo is the way to go for sure. As Tracy has done here, you can always add flowers to soften the look or you can go all out and make a beautiful hair comb the embellishment.
Great with: Classic dresses - clean silhouettes, satin and sleeved dresses.
More typically used with the 'maids, a long braid can really lend itself to a boho bridal look too, using a long hair vine and/or flowers, this look can be positively ethereal when styled correctly. Adding a little height and volume at the back of the head, and visually interesting twists, elevates the look far beyond your school-girl plaits.
Great with: Boho styles, lacy dresses and sweetheart necklines.
Huge thanks to Tracy for providing images of her fabulous work on real brides. Don't forget to check out her website - https://brideshair.co.uk/
